ALAMPUR GONDLAN is located in District Gujrat and tehsil kharian. It has about 200 houses, 3 mosques, 2 primary schools. Inhabitants are Jutt gondal by cast. It came into existence about 100 years ago. Named after Ch Mohammad Alam as Alampur Gondlan. It is attached with city by Mohri road and then by Dinga road. A small village a few km away from the nearest city, Kharian. A large number of the original inhabitants of Dera emigrated to Europe, especially UK and Norway in the seventies.
